The Fildas-Catena Group, owned by entrepreneur Anca Vlad, is a leader in the pharmaceutical distribution and retail market in Romania.

At the national level, Fildas Trading has 15 logistics centers, with a total of 17 warehouses and a surface area of over 58,000 square meters.

The second core of the business led by Anca Vlad is the Catena pharmacy chain, with more than 900 pharmacies and 4.5 million loyal customers. The Group, which employs over 9,000 people, also includes IT, media, advertising and contract manufacturing companies.

The Forbes USA Edition has included Anca Vlad in its “50 over 50: EMEA” list, which honors successful women from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is a remarkable achievement, especially since Anca Vlad is the only Romanian name on this list, which includes business, medical and artistic personalities from this part of the world.

Anca Vlad is the Vice President of the Association of Romanian Business People and of the Family Business Network Romania. Since 2021, she has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Family Business Federation, based in Brussels.

Entrepreneur Anca Vlad is also active in the field of social responsibility, participating in campaigns organized by foundations such as Save the Children, OvidiuRo, LightintoEurope, Hospice Casa Speranței and other charitable organizations. Within the framework of the “Catena for Art” program, the Group led by Anca Vlad supports Romanian art by sponsoring art exhibitions and Romanian films. For example, a production sponsored by the Foundation won the directing award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. “Catena for Art” also supports film festivals and performances, as well as Romanian artists in Romania and abroad.

Supporting sports is another goal of the Fildas-Catena Group. With an outstanding performance, the Catena Racing Team won the 2023 edition of the Companies Championship, the Companies Cup and the EFBLU European Tour 6, held in Bulgaria. In 2024, the Catena football team became the national champion in corporate football.
