ABIT Puresoft este un furnizor global de solutii personalizate pentru platformele ServiceNow, Office 365 si UiPath, oferind fluxuri de lucru digitale menite sa automatizeze serviciile IT din cadrul unei companii, sporindu-i productivitatea si eficienta.

Singurul partener oficial ServiceNow din Romania, ABIT Puresoft a pornit ca multe alte startup-uri de succes: cu o idee buna si cativa oameni care au crezut in ea. Infiintata intr-un apartament din Bucuresti in urma cu 5 ani, compania s-a mutat intre timp intr-o cladire de birouri din centrul capitalei si a deschis un al doilea birou, la Nuremberg. Recent a semnat un nou parteneriat pentru comercializarea platformei Efecte pe piata romaneasca.

Pentru ABIT Puresoft succesul nu se traduce doar in realizarile financiare, ci si in cultura companiei, mediul de lucru placut si relatia pozitiva cu angajatii si clientii sai. 

La intrebarile Forbes a raspuns Anca Acatrinei, Chief Tech Marketing Officer ABIT Puresoft.

Care sunt principalele obiective ale strategiei de business şi principalele realizări ale companiei în acest an?

Dorim sa anticipam nevoile clientilor nostri, oferindu-le solutii IT care sa ii ajute cu adevarat si pe care angajatii sa le fie la indemana sa le foloseasca. Multe companii folosesc sisteme aproape imposibil de inteles fara un ghid, cu o interfata cat se poate de neprietenoasa. Solutiile noastre sunt intuitive, nu necesita cunostinte de programare pentru a fi instalate sau mentenanta din partea departamentului IT.

Faptul ca suntem singura companie romaneasca autorizata sa vanda licente ServiceNow este o realizare majora pentru ABIT Puresoft, devenind parteneri oficiali la finalul anului 2021 si parteneri Premier in luna martie a acestui an. Ceea ce face din ServiceNow una din cele mai inovatoare solutii din lume este ca ofera un flux de lucru simplu si flexibil pentru managementul serviciilor IT dintr-o companie.

Recent ne-am extins portofoliul cu inca o platforma de digitalizare a serviciilor, prin semnarea parteneriatului cu compania finlandeza Efecte, si in acest caz fiind singura companie autorizata sa vanda licente Efecte.

Ca obiective, ne propunem sa marim echipa de la 90 la 120 angajati si sa ne diversificam portofoliul. Dorim sa aducem solutiile noastre in cat mai multe companii.

Ce schimbări a adus pandemia/ razboiul în domeniul în care activați si care sunt previziunile privind activitatea companiei pe termen mediu?

Majoritatea companiilor au adoptat un model de lucru hibrid, in care angajatii lucreaza de acasa 2-3 zile pe saptamana. Am observat o dorinta mai mare de automatizare a proceselor, ceea ce ne-a ajutat sa crestem financiar si sa marim echipa.

Ca si in cazul altor companii, pandemia COVID-19 a determinat ABIT Puresoft sa-si regandeasca prioritatile pe termen mediu si lung. Evolutia sustenabila si experienta clientilor sunt prioritatile noastre pe termen mediu si lung. Loializarea clientilor este esentiala pentru orice companie, pentru ca ei sunt unii din cei mai buni ambasadori ai brandului. Un client multumit te va recomanda mai departe, un client nemultumit te va face sa pierzi alti clienti potentiali.

Care sunt valorile ABIT Puresoft?

Inca de la fondarea ABIT Puresoft, valorile care ne-au ghidat comportamentul si deciziile au fost adaptabilitatea, creativitatea si transparenta in relatia cu clientii, excelenta serviciilor oferite, inovatia, focusul pe rezultate, cultivarea talentelor si responsabilitatea sociala.

Incurajam angajatii sa vina cu idei noi, pentru ca impreuna sa putem construi ceva mai bun. In tot ceea ce facem, punem accent pe colaborare si impartasirea expertizei intre colegi. Vrem sa imbinam aceasta expertiza cu tehnologia pentru a oferi cele mai bune servicii clientilor, indiferent de dimensiunea afacerii lor.

Cum vă recrutaţi angajaţii în condiţiile crizei de personal calificat, cum îi pregătiţi şi cum le creşteţi performanţele? Cum vă asiguraţi de implicarea angajaților? Cum îi motivaţi?

Stim ca pentru a ramane competitivi in aceasta perioada plina de schimbari trebuie sa investim in atragerea celor mai buni oameni, de aceea una din zonele principale de focus pentru ABIT Puresoft este modul in care suntem perceputi ca angajator (Employer Branding). 

Comunicarea cu potentialii angajati despre ceea ce oferim si cum ii putem ajuta sa se dezvolte este la fel de importanta ca si comunicarea cu clientii sau angajatii.

Inca de la primele discutii incercam sa le oferim candidatilor o perspectiva unica asupra companiei, axata nu doar pe asteptarile noastre, dar si ale lor. Dorim sa atragem oameni oameni autodidacti, independenti si cu initiativa, care sa vada in ABIT Puresoft un loc in care se pot dezvolta si care le va acorda incredere inca de la inceput. Am ales sa oferim un program flexibil, pentru ca fiecare membru al echipei sa aiba posibilitatea sa-si gestioneze responsabilitatil fara presiunea micromanagementului.

Printre cursurile de dezvoltare profesionala si personala pe care ABIT Puresoft le ofera angajatilor se numara traininguri tehnice si de business, gestionarea conflictelor si schimbarilor, excelenta in relatia cu clientii, gestionarea carierei, leadership si comunicare eficienta. In ceea ce priveste sanatatea si starea de bine a angajatilor, acestia au acces la diferite resurse pentru sanatatea lor fizica si mentala.

Cum dezvoltaţi talentele din cadrul companiei dumneavostră?

Am decis sa ne indepartam de modelul clasic de performance management, in care angajatilor li se pune o eticheta care de multe ori nu are legatura cu realitatea, pentru ca apoi sa primeasca targeturi nerealiste. Abordarea ABIT Puresoft este bazata pe identificarea punctelor forte ale fiecarui angajat si a-i incuraja sa le aplice in munca lor.

In primele 2-3 luni de la angajare exista mai multe cursuri si testari, iar la finalul acestei perioada se face o evaluare interna in urma careia angajatii sunt distribuiti in cadrul unor echipe, unde vor fi sustinuti cu cunostinte tehnice si exemple practice, iar liderii echipelor le va atribui taskuri. Sustinem transferul de cunostinte in cadrul echipei prin intalniri saptamanale de tipul “lessons learned”, unde se discuta despre diferite situatii intalnite in cadrul proiectelor.

Printre valorile promovate de ABIT Puresoft se afla conceptul de work-life balance. Cum menţineţi dvs. echilibrul între viaţa personală şi cea profesională? 

Sunt constienta ca nu exista un program “perfect” pentru a mentine echilibrul intre viata personala si cea profesionala, dar cred ca este important sa ramai realist si sa evaluezi mereu unde esti versus unde vrei sa ajungi. Sunt zile in care trebuie sa fii alaturi de familie si zile in care trebuie sa stai la birou peste program, chiar daca nu incurajam acest lucru la ABIT Puresoft. Pana la urma cred ca cel mai important e sa iubesti ceea ce faci si sa fii dispus sa-ti redirectionezi eforturile acolo unde este mai mare nevoie de ele.

Pot spune ca atat eu cat si colegii mei suntem privilegiati la acest capitol, avand in vedere ca accentul se pune pe productivitate, nu pe numarul de ore petrecut la birou. Pe langa faptul ca nu incurajam orele suplimentare, oferim un sistem de lucru hibrid si o zi libera ca beneficiu la fiecare 2 luni. Este vorba de flexibilitatea de a te ocupa si de job, si de a petrece timp cu prietenii sau familia.

De unde ar putea România să împrumute cele mai bune practici pentru industria/ industriile în care activați?

Romania o piata foarte competitiva din acest punct de vedere, avand un personal calificat si cu experienta in domeniul IT. De altfel, se observa o cerere crescuta a tarilor europene pentru piata de munca din Romania. Un exemplu de bune practici ar fi Germania, Elvetia, Austria si tarile nordice, acesta fiind si unul din motivele pentru care ABIT Puresoft a deschis biroul din Nuremberg in luna iulie a anului trecut.

Ce v-a determinat sa va alaturati unui start-up acum 2 ani si ce ati invatat dupa aceasta perioada? 

In primul rand increderea si pasiunea pe care mi-a transmis-o fondatorul companiei inca de la primele discutii. Este un business cu un potential enorm prin serviciile pe care le ofera, as putea spune ca de nisa in Romania. Pe de alta parte, nu m-am identificat niciodata cu stilul de lucru dintr-o multinationala, iar oportunitatea de a-mi aduce aportul la dezvoltarea unui business romanesc mi s-a parut foarte atractiva.

Am invatat ca totul este posibil atunci cand esti dedicat si pui pasiune in ceea ce faci. Nimic nu se face cu jumatati de masura, iar acest lucru este valabil pe toate planurile.

Am mai invatat ca cel mai important lucru dintr-o companie este echipa. Oamenii sunt cei cu care clientii iau contact si tot ei sunt cei care transmit atmosfera reala dintr-o companie. Daca angajatii sunt facuti sa simta ca au valoare, isi vor face cu placere munca, pe cand om caruia nu-i place ceea ce face va transmite acest lucru in toate interactiunile sale cu colegii sau clientii.

Ma bucur sa vad ca societatea noastra a evoluat in ultimii ani si ca tot mai multi oameni realizeaza ca rigiditatea si stilul de leadership autoritar nu mai aduc rezultate. 

Dupa 10 ani de experienta in marketing, cum arata o companie de succes si cum trebuie sa fie echipa din spatele acesteia?

La baza oricarei companii de succes sta ideea de business, cu conditia ca si oamenii din spatele companiei sa creada in ea. Nu cred ca se poate vorbi despre succes fara increderea echipei in misiunea companiei. 

Pentru mine, o echipa ideala este cea in care toti inteleg scopul comun pentru care lucreaza si sunt apreciati pentru contributiile unice pe care le aduc. Majoritatea angajatilor din Romania inteleg astazi ca nu mai este de ajuns sa fii motivat financiar pentru a fii fericit la locul de munca, ai nevoie sa simti ca ai un scop, ca aduci valoare echipei tale.

Ce i-ați recomanda unui tânăr care se pregătește să intre în profesie? 

De cele mai multe ori, teoria din facultate nu coincide cu realitatea din domeniul in care studentii decid sa activeze. Conteaza foarte mult sa fie deschisi catre nou, proactivi si sa absoarba informatii noi. Lucrurile se schimba in permanenta si trebuie sa fie pregatiti sa se adapteze.

Am interactionat de-a lungul carierei cu destul de multi tineri aflati la inceput, mereu i-am apreciat si incurajat pe cei care nu s-au multumit doar cu a face automat ceva, ci au cautat informatii si moduri noi de a face sau rezolva lucrurile.

Sfatul meu e sa-si aleaga ca modele oameni care-i inspira, de la care au ce invata si sa nu le fie frica de greseli, pentru ca pana la urma din ele invatam mai mult decat din succesuri.

How ABIT Puresoft built a successful business in Romania

ABIT Puresoft is a global supplier of tailored solutions for the ServiceNow, Office 365 and UiPath platforms, providing digital workflows meant to automate a company’s IT services and improve its productivity and efficiency.

The only official ServiceNow partner in Romania, ABIT Puresoft started like many other successful startups: with a good idea a few people who believed in it. Founded in a Bucharest apartment 5 years ago, the company recently relocated to an office building in the city center and opened a second office in Nuremberg. It recently signed an exclusive partnership with Finnish company Efecte.

For ABIT Puresoft success is not just in the financial achievements, but also in the company’s culture, its pleasant work environment and the positive relationship with employees and clients. 

Interview with Anca Acatriei, Chief Tech Marketing Officer ABIT Puresoft.

What are the main business objectives and achievements this year?

We want to anticipate our clients needs by giving them IT solutions that help their business and that employees love to use. Many companies use systems that are almost impossible to understand without a user guide. Our solutions are intuitive and don’t require any intervention from the IT department to be installed or maintained.

The fact that we are the only authorized ServiceNow reseller in Romania is a major achievement for ABIT Puresoft. We became an official partner at the end of 2021 and a Premier partner earlier this year. What makes ServiceNow one of the most innovative solutions in the world is that it offers a simple and scalable workflow to manage IT services within a company. 

We recently expanded our portfolio by signing a partnership with Efecte service management platform, also being the only authorized reseller on the Romanian market.

Our plan is to grow the team from 90 to 120 people and diversify our portfolio, bringing our solutions to as many companies as possible.

What changes did the pandemic bring in the IT sector and what are the medium term predictions for the company?

Most companies implemented a hybrid work model, with the employees working remotely 2-3 days a week. We noticed a greater drive to automate processes, which helped us grow financially and hire more people.

The pandemic made ABIT Puresoft rethink its medium and long term priorities, with sustainable evolution and client experience becoming our focus areas for the future. Client loyalty is essential to any company’s success, because they are one of your best brand ambassadors. Happy clients recommend you to other people, unhappy clients make you lose business.

What are ABIT Puresoft’s values?

How do you recruit, train and grow performance within your company, given the current crisis of qualified workforce? How do you motivate your employees?

Communication with employees about what we can do for them and how we can help them grow is just as important as client communication.

How does ABIT Puresoft develop talents?

We decided to step back from the classic performance management model, where employees are reduced to a label and given unrealistic targets. ABIT Puresoft has a strenghts-based approach, where we identify each employee’s strenghts and encourage their use in daily work.

The first 2-3 weeks after a candidate accepts our offer are the onboarding period. After an internal evaluation at the end of this period, the employeee is assigned to a team and supported with technical and practical know-how. The team discusses various project challenges during weekly lessons learned meetings, which encourages the transfer of know-how inside the company.

Among ABIT Puresoft’s values is the work-life balance? How do you maintain the balance between your personal and professional lives?

I know that there is no such thing as a “perfect” schedule to balance the personal and professional lives, but I believe it’s important to be realistic and always evaluate where you are versus where you want to be. There are days when you need to be there for your family and days when you need to put in some extra time at work, even if this is not encouraged at ABIT Puresoft. In the end, I believe the most important thing is to love your work and be willing to redirect your efforts where they are most needed.

I can say that both myself and my colleagues are privileged because ABIT Puresoft focuses on productivity, not the number of hours spent at the office. We do not encourage overtime and offer a hybrid work system along with an extra day off every 2 months. It’s about having the flexibility to take care of work and spend time with family and friends.

What is a good example of good practices in IT that Romania could borrow from?

Romania has a very competitive IT market, with experieced and qualified personnel. We can see an increased demand from European countries for the Romanian workforce. Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Scandinavian countries are good examples of good practices, this being one of the reasons we opened an office in Nuremberg in July 2021.

What convinced you to join a startup 2 years ago and what have you learned in this time? 

I was convinced to join by the founder’s confidence in the company and its future, something that came through since the first discussions. It’s a business with a huge growth potential due to the services it provides, I would say a niche market for Romania. On the other hand, I never resonated with multinational corporations, so the opportunity to contribute to the development of a Romanian business seemed very attractive.

I have learned that everything is possible when you’re passionate about what you do. Nothing is done with half measures, this applies both professionally and personally.

I have also learned that a company’s most important asset are its people. The people are the first line of contact with the clients, they are a reflection of the company’s culture and work environment. If employees are valued, they have a reason to come to work every day. When they are made to feel “lesser than”, they will show thay in every interaction with clients and coworkers.

I am glad to see that our society has evolved in the past years and more people realize that rigidity and authoritarian leadership do not bring results anymore.

After 10 years of marketing experience, what does a successful company look like and how should the team be like?

Every successful company starts from a business idea, as long as the team believes in it. I don’t think that we can talk about success without the team’s trust in the company’s mission.

The ideal team for me is one where everyone understands the common goal they are working for and are appreciated for their contributions towards achieving that goal. Most Romanian employees understand that today it’s no longer enough to be financially motivated to be happy, you need to feel like you have a purpose and bring value to your team.

What would you recommend to a young professional?

Most of the times, what students learn in school doesn’t match the reality of the chosen profession. It is very important that they be proactive and open to new information. Things are constantly changing and they have to be adaptable. 

Over the course of my career I have interacted with many young professionals, I have always appreciated and encouraged those who didn’t settle with just performing a task, but looked for new and improved ways of doing things to solve problems.

My advice is to surround themselves with people that inspire them and that they can learn from, to not be afraid of mistakes because in the end we learn more from our mistakes than from our successes.
