A landmark first for Romania: the RED Global Awards, hosted by Forbes Romania* in partnership with the RED Awards**, a memorable event recognizing and celebrating international excellence in the real estate industry, took place on June 17, 2026, in Bucharest.
For the first time in its history, the prestigious RED (Real Estate Development) from the USA, founded by Selman Yacin, made its grand European debut on a global scale – bringing together the most influential developers, investors, architects, owners, and commercial real estate leaders from the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East under one roof, and setting a new benchmark for distinction in real estate.
The RED Global Awards event had two major components:
EXCLUSIVE ROUND TABLES
Curated at the highest level, an exclusive series of private Round Tables took place in an elegant setting at Boulevard 73 Restaurant, Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
These sessions brought together leading Romanian and international investors for strategic dialogue, high-level insight exchange, and the exploration of future cross-border partnerships.
This defining gathering created a unique space where leadership, expertise, strategy, and vision met.

THE RED GLOBAL AWARDS GALA
The RED Global Awards Gala – an evening dedicated to glamour and the celebration of excellence in real estate – took place at the historic and emblematic building of the National Museum of Art of Romania (MNAR), from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The event was inaugurated by Raluca Michailov, Owner Forbes Romania & Forbes Moldova, and Selman Yalcin, founder RED Awards.
